A TRIO of WOMAS - Uluru/Tanami/Topaz

Often, we are asked about the differences between the various woma lines that we produce. The pictures above show yearling Tanami, Topaz and Uluru forms together, so that their different morphologies are illustrated for the reader. The Topaz is an extreme form of the Tanami woma exhibiting a more golden and orange colouration. The banding on the Topaz is also more of a zig-zag pattern than seen in either the standard Tanami or the Uluru. The Uluru womas tend to be darker with more regular banding than the Tanamis. Other differences for the Ulurus include that they also grow a little larger than the Tanamis, their banding does not have a tendency to fade with age and originating from further south, they regularly breed a month later than the Tanamis for us.
