Tree Pythons ![]() |
We have two clutches of Aussie GTPs that are now one year old (Nov 2011) and have been sexed. We also have a clutch of Sarong GTP hatchlings that will be ready for sale unsexed in about March 2012 when we are confident they are robust and feeding consistently well. In addition, we have one adult female Sarong who is a proven breeder (2nd clutch last season). If you are interested, click here for more information. |
|
We have available male and female albinos from the season before last (hatched Nov/Dec 2009) which are now approx. 2 years old. We also have a large range of hatchlings from last season (hatched Nov/Dec 2010) which are turning into yearlings. In addition, we have 2 year old Het Albinos available. All the albinos and hets we sell are well established feeders on fresh or thawed rodents. You can see some of this stock on PICK-A-PYTHON now. |

Coastal RPM Carpet Pythons |
The RPM morph (morphological variant) is a simple genetic mutation (co-dominant) that produces a wide range of reduced pattern forms with enhanced colours. The gene appears to function in the same way that the Jag gene performs in carpet pythons in the USA and Europe. We have produced a small number of second generation hatchlings this year. You can see some of this stock on PICK-A-PYTHON now. |
|
Black&Gold RPM Coastal Carpets |
This form of RPM typically shows a high contrast pattern of black and yellow. Occasionally very reduced black animals are produced with a pale yellow/orange background. They are produced from crossing a black and gold carpet with a coastal RPM. You can see some of this stock plus our Jungle RPMs on PICK-A-PYTHON now. |
|
Orange Pepper |
The Orange Pepper was named by SXR to describe progeny derived from crossing a Coastal RPM and a Caramel Coastal Carpet Python. Both snakes are a product of co-dominant genes. The resultant double het offspring have extremely reduced black markings and typically an attractive orange to yellow background colour. Our efforts last breeding season have produced a variety of interesting colour and pattern variations this season including the Super OP form which is double recessive for the Caramel gene. You can see some of this stock on PICK-A-PYTHON now. |
|
Caramel Coastal Carpet Python |
The Caramel Carpet Python is a form of hypomelanistic snake (i.e. reduced black). It is co-dominant with the het form showing some black reduction and the recessive very little black at all. We named this mutation "caramel" because many of the offspring develop a caramel hue to their background colouration. We only have two yearling males remaining. | $550 each Available now |

here for more information. |
