Description: This female Centralian Python was captive bred in Alice Springs and reached 14 years of age at the start of this year. She has bred regularly for us (usually 2 years on and 1 year off) since she was 3.5 years old. She is a classic form of Bredli with the black edging around her body pattern and produces a proportion of Red Classic offspring. She is a well behaved snake, but should not be taken lightly at feeding time. She is a large python and I would guess about 2.4 metres (8 feet) or so. We do not handle our breeding snakes much, so she has not been treated as a pet and would become stressed if she was played with a lot. Ideally she would be suited to someone who would appreciate her, like to breed her a few more times and then retire her. When you are developing as many forms of python as we are, space and collection size becomes an issue and difficult decisions to part with old friends have to be made. Sale price is secondary to us, we would like to see her go to a good home with an owner that has the husbandry skills to keep her happy and healthy. If you do decide to bid for her, we will be asking for your experience and intentions for her.
