Jono's Notes |
Emerald Pit Viper - Pictured is a juvenile found in an area that this species wasn't previously known to inhabit. It was located while doing transects curled up on a leaf a meter above the ground. A fellow volunteer and good mate, Chris, spotted the little viper and almost grabbed it before realising exactly what it was! Venomous enough to be lethal even at this size. |
