Albino Offspring at 20 months
The snakes shown above are amongst the first albinos we have bred. These F2 offspring resulted from crossing F1 heterozygous siblings. They were about 20 months old when these photos were taken on 11th June 2005. It is very difficult to do justice to these young albinos in a photograph. We took these photographs outside in a white plastic tub on a bright but overcast day. The white and gold form was photographed with the help of a flash and the high yellow form in natural light only. You can enlarge these pictures by left-clicking on them. The colours did not start to appear until the snakes were about 9 months old and are still evolving now. You can see how the F2's looked at 13 months on New Years Day by clicking here. It appears it may take two to three years until their final beauty is fully revealed. |
PLEASE NOTE
- We have sold all the offspring we are willing to part with at this
time. For those of you that are interested in purchasing some next
